adrim 50mg Injection is a  chemotherapy drug containing the active constituent doxorubicin.  It belongs to the medication class known as cytotoxic agents. It treats many types of cancers, such as lung, breast, blood, bladder, stomach, etc. It may be given alone or in combination with other anticancer medicines. Cancer is a condition in which cells multiply uncontrolled and abnormally.

Uses of adrim 50mg Injection

Doxorubicin 50mg injection is administered as an intravenous infusion into the vein. If this injection is recommended for you, it will be given by a healthcare professional. Do not self-administer.

Doxorubicin 50mg works by interfering with the DNA in cancer cells by inserting itself into the DNA strands, which disrupts the normal structure of the DNA. This causes the DNA to break apart, leading to cell death. Additionally, this medicine can also cause damage to the membranes surrounding the cell's nucleus, which further contributes to cell death.

Side effects are unwanted symptoms caused by medicines. Even though all medicines cause side effects, not everyone gets them.
