Hytasone Injection

Hytasone injection contains an active component called hyaluronic acid. This medicine belongs to a group of analgesics. It is used to relieve pain in osteoarthritis of the knee. Individuals with inflammation in the joints should inform their doctor prior to the use of the drug. Inform your doctor if you are allergic to the medicine or its ingredients before using the medicine.

Treatment of Osteoarthritis

Hytasone injection will be injected intra-articularly (into the joints), and you should not inject it into the veins or muscles.

Hytasone Injection is indicated in the treatment of pain in osteoarthritis of the knee in patients who have failed to respond adequately to non-pharmacologic therapy, nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs), or analgesics (pain killers). Hytasone injection works by reducing friction between the joints. Thereby providing relief from pain.
