Lentris 4 mg Capsule is an anti-cancer medicine used in the treatment of various types of cancers. Cancer is a disease caused by the abnormal growth of cells that divide uncontrollably. This medicine is used in treating hepatocellular carcinoma as a first-line therapy, differentiated thyroid cancer in patients with locally recurrent or metastatic, progressive, radioactive iodine-refractory, advanced renal cell carcinoma in combination with pembrolizumab, and advanced endometrial cancer in combination with pembrolizumab.Lentris 4 mg Capsule contains Lenvatinib, which belongs to the class of medicines known as kinase inhibitors. It works by inhibiting the action of an enzyme (tyrosine kinase) and thus stops the abnormal growth of cancer cells.

Lentris Capsule is an oral medication that is usually taken once a day, at approximately the same time each day, with or without food. It should be taken as prescribed by a doctor or other healthcare provider. These capsules should be swallowed whole with a glass of water. They should not be crushed, chewed, or opened, as this can affect the way the medication is absorbed and decrease its effectiveness. You should not take a double dose to make up for the second dose.

Lentris Capsule blocks the enzyme receptor tyrosine kinases (RTKs). RTKs develop new blood vessels that supply oxygen and nutrients to the cells and help them grow. This medicine inhibits the receptors that facilitate the growth of blood vessels in tumor cells. RTKs are present in high concentrations in cancer cells, and administration of this medicine slows down the rate of cancer cells’ growth and multiplication.

Side effects are unwanted symptoms caused by medicines. Even though all drugs cause side effects, not everyone gets them.
