Introduction

Mycamine 50mg injection belongs to the group of medicines called anti-fungal agents indicated in the treatment of fungal infections caused by fungal or yeast cells called Candida. It is effective in treating systemic infections (those that have penetrated within the body). Mycamine 50mg injection contains Micafungin, which works by interfering with the production of a part of the fungal cell wall that is necessary for the fungus to survive and grow. Thereby, it helps treat fungal infections.

  • Esophageal candidiasis
  • Intra-abdominal candidiasis

How to Consume

A doctor or nurse in a hospital or clinic setting will give it to you. It is given as an intravenous infusion drip (into your vein). Do not self-administer the injection. Your doctor will decide the dose and duration of the treatment based on your disease severity, body weight, and other factors.
