Pergoveris 450 IU Pen Injection is a fertility treatment prescribed to women who have trouble ovulating due to low levels of certain natural hormones. It contains two active ingredients — follitropin alfa (FSH) and lutropin alfa (LH) — which are lab-made versions of natural hormones involved in egg development and release. This injection is often used in women with severe LH and FSH deficiency, particularly those with rare pituitary or hypothalamic disorders. Pergoveris comes in a pre-filled, multi-dose injection pen, designed for easy and precise self-administration. The pen contains a total of 450 IU, allowing flexibility in dosing as advised by your fertility specialist. It should not be used in women with conditions like ovarian failure, tumours of the ovary, uterus, or breast, or those who are already pregnant. Always take this medication under the supervision of a fertility specialist.

Pergoveris is given as a subcutaneous injection, usually in the lower abdomen or thigh. It comes in a pre-filled injection pen for easy self-use. The dosage and duration will be decided by your doctor based on your hormone levels and response. It should be taken at the same time each day. Do not skip doses and always follow your doctor's instructions carefully.
