Rotavac 5d Oral Vaccine

Rotavac 5D Oral vaccine is a medicine used in the prevention of diarrhea due to rotavirus. It is usually given as a 3-dose oral regimen, 4 weeks apart, beginning at 6 weeks of age. Rotavac 5D Oral vaccine can be given with or without food. It helps protect the baby from a kind of virus (rotavirus) that can cause bad diarrhea. Give it in the dose and direction as advised by the doctor. Side effects are rare, however, some may experience mild irritability, ear inflammation, nasopharyngitis, difficulty in breathing, and vomiting. If the child experience any of such side effects and that does not go away with time or get worse, you should let your doctor know. The doctor may help with ways to reduce or prevent these symptoms.

Prevention of diarrhea due to rotavirus

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Check the label for directions before use. Measure it with a measuring cup and take it by mouth. Shake well before use. Rotavac 5D Oral vaccine may be taken with or without food.
