Introduction

Menactra Vaccine contains an active component called Meningo-coccal Polysaccharide Diphtheria Toxoid Conjugate. This vaccine is an active immunizing agent used to prevent meningococcal disease caused by neisseria meningitidis groups A, C, Y, W – 135, but it is not effective against N meningitidis serogroup B. It is contraindicated for persons who are diagnosed with Guillain-Barré Syndrome (GBS)
it may increase the risk of GBS. Consult your doctor if you are allergic to the drug and its other ingredients.

How to Consume

Menactra Vaccine will be administered to you by a healthcare professional in a hospital setting. It is usually administered in the muscle (intramuscular). Your doctor will decide the dose, route of administration, and frequency based on your disease condition and other factors.

Menactra Vaccine contains Meningococcal Polysaccharides of serogroups A, C, Y, and W-135 antigens.
